It has been 5 years since my last visit, and since then there have been some changes...boy have there been some changes...



At present May 2009 Hagar qim and Mnajdra are in the process of being covered over... effectively seperating them from the landscape - and the sun. 



Note: Access to Hagar Qim is currently impossible... 6 week waiting list for  ...</description>

			<description>The Intihuatana Stone (Hitching post), used for measuring the equinoxes, was damaged in September 2000 when a 450 kg (1,000-pound) crane fell onto it, breaking off a piece of stone. The crane was being used to film an advertisement for a beer commercial.
